I Accomplished More in 12 months Than I Have in 12 years!!

It’s official its been a little over 12 months since I took that leap and joined as a Beachbody Coach and WOW what an amazing journey it has been. I was listening to a Brian Tracy audio program this morning in my car (who I never even heard of until joining as a coach now I feel like I know him) and he said to write down your accomplishments on paper & that got me to thinking… I really have accomplished SO  MUCH in the last 12 months of my life I need to praise myself for the things that I have done… so that is what this blog post is all about… Sharing my story of how I changed my life in the last year

I found out about Beachbody Coaching through Social Media (twitter) and I never thought that I was even qualified to join as a coach so never asked too many questions about it until 1 day I saw Jenelle Summers (who is in the Beachbody videos herself) posting about how anyone can do it. That got me thinking so I wrote her a DM (twitter term for a private message) and asked her about what it was all about and she said that she would love to explain more about and thought I would be great because I was already doing what a coach does anyways. I thought “Really?!?! ME!!” I waited by my computer for that message and couldn’t wait to see what she had to say… I was super excited that Jenelle Summers, who I always watched during my workouts and loved her style of working out, was even talking to me LOL I felt so cool! After reading through the email of her explaining that all Beachbody Coaching is is building relationships with others who have the same thing in common with you and just directing them to your website and SHARING with others about the products/workouts that have worked for you…. I thought, “Jenelle is right i am already doing this and already have turned so many people onto Turbo Jam!” I couldn’t wait to tell my Fiance (now Husband) Brad about it.

That night I listened in on a webinar which got me even more excited, talked to Brad and he said “for $39.95 go for it” (ill admit he wasn’t as excited about it as I was he was a little bit skeptical), and I SIGNED UP!! Yes I had my insecurities and doubts: Im shy, we were living LESS than pay check to pay check, I work full time, was planning a wedding, etc etc BUT I put those worries aside and just went for it because I just had a feeling this was going to change our situation (as “The Situation” would call it for all you Jersey Shore fans). That is when it all began … my new life and I had NO IDEA what I was in store for!

I didn’t really dive into my business as fast of a lot of my coaches on my team have or do but I did start talking about it right away because of my excitment but I was so shy and was so nervous about talking to people (not sure why because I was doing it before lol) Then 1 day I just decided I needed to do this because its not about ME its about helping OTHERS and putting them 1st so I contacted Jenelle and said “Hey J Im ready …. tell me what to do and I will do it!!”

I started organizing my time better and changed around my schedule so I could have set work hours for my Beachbody business and I really started using Social Media (just like how I heard about the coaching business) to my advantage and WOW am I happy I did because I started growing my business faster and faster each week and my checks started to grow more and more each week as well.

It’s so crazy before joining as a coach I was content living less than pay check to pay check and had no goals just was walking through life hoping something would change FOR ME without me doing anything to achieve something more. I realized that was my problem, if I see myself as unsuccessful and tell myself its ok to continue living the way I was … thats exactly what I was going to get! Beachbody is HUGE on personal development and I committed to reading and listening to books that would help my way of thinking and Im so thankful I decided to do that because reading 10 pages per day and listening to 15 mins of audio daily has made me a better person all around.

So after about 3-4 months of actually working my business my checks started to grow consistently and was averaging around $100-$200 weekly and I was SO PUMPED!! Every week I was like running to my Husband saying, “LOOK LOOK … $175 today.” LOL he always was very supportive but still said he had NO idea how I was going to earn a 6 figure income doing this… he just couldn’t understand it. I never even bothered trying to explain I decided early on with all those people trying to laugh at my or tell me I was crazy I just smiled and KNEW I would be able to show them SOON!!

I didn’t feel comfortable posting this but I have had SOO many people really truly wondering how the heck its possible to earn this money with in 12 months BUT IT IS POSSIBLE … here is proof and I have friends that are making more than me so you can even DO MORE than this…

Through out these 12 months I have accomplished so many things and tackled so many of my HUGE fears…. I have spoken on the National Coach Call, on the Platinum Presenters Call, LIVE Webinars, I have other coaches in the business ask me to speak on their team calls, got married, I have become VERY big on creating youtube videos (which I never thought I would be able to do because I WAS shy), I got certified to teach Turbo the workout that changed my life, I NOW teach Turbo, opened up my own fitness studio, climbed the leader boards and am now 2-Star Diamond, Won a 7-Day Cruise, Top 10 out of 30,000 coaches, having the CEO of Beachbody Carl Daikeler come to my house next month, met Chalene Johnson, and last but not least tripled my income just like I said I would with in my first year in this business! WOW thats a lot all in 12 months! To be honest I have accomplished more in 12 months than I have in 12 years and thats a fact!!!

Its still a shock to me know that I am soon to be a working from home Mom (which was my main goal when starting up my own business) and I will be able to watch Lane & our future children grow up and making more than I ever dreamed of doing something I LOVE and am passionate about. When I work on my Beachbody fitness business its FUN so it doesn’t feel like work to me …. PLUS to top it all off Im helping others which makes it worth it because its so rewarding. I have met so many great positive people in the last 12 months and I truly KNOW they will be life long friends. Its great to just be surrounded by all these positive people & a positive business that allows me to live my dream every single day.

Thanks for reading this blog post I will for sure be writing another one for my 24 month mark in this business and it will be fun to see where I am at in this journey at that time… who knows maybe Ill be pregnant or own another business or be traveling with my family LOL you just never know what changes could take place I know that FOR A FACT now after that last 12 months and how much my life has changed for the better! I just wanted to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to all my new friends that have helped me stay positive through out this journey and have inspired me to DO MORE, to my Mentor Jenelle Summers who I know I wouldn’t push myself as much as I do without her leadership and guidance, Chalene Johnson who as you know started EVERYTHING for me by creating Turbo Jam because before that I hated fitness and now Im living it and for all the other great things she has done for me, and of course the company that makes this all possible for us and its because they are in business for the RIGHT reasons to help others that allows us to do the same and be the CEO of our own business…BEACHBODY!!
