We can’t even explain to you how excited and PUMPED we are to start teaching Group Fitness classes at our NEW Studio called Shake & Shed Fitness located in Stephenson Court (right by the First National Bank in Iron Mountain,MI) We will be starting VERY soon, we will be teaching Turbo Kick every Tuesday at 5:45 am & 5:45pm and every Friday at 5:45am and 5:45pm!! We really hope you all can make it because Turbo Kick truly is SOOO MUCH FUN!! The music is awesome and gets your fired up and you can burn up to 1,000 calories in 1 class (1 hour) NO LIE!!

HECK YES I Passed!!!

A few weeks ago my sister Kim and I went to Germantown, WI for our TurboKick training. Just so you all know we were soooooooooooo nervous lol I was sweating like crazy before we even got there. We both have been doing Turbo Jam for about 5 years and are Turbo fanatics but Turbo Jam is a at home workout program so we never had to do in LIVE in front of other people. We decided after 4-5 years of throwing around the idea of wanting to get training to be able to teach that we were just going to GO FOR IT so we signed up and went for it.

I had to wake up at like freaking 3:30am so we could get on the road at by 5:00am and I had to get gas, healthy snacks, water, etc and then pick up my big sis. Well I get to Kimbo’s house and I started getting a tad bit nervous when NO lights AT all were on in the house. NOT GOOD!! I was like she is probably just in the bathroom finishing up getting ready so I kept telling myself not to worry. I get to the front door and it was locked… I was not happy but I have a key so I went in and there she was in bed UGH! I woke her up we stressed out for a few mins got her ready and got on the road about 15mins later thankfully it wasn’t a huge deal because Im not scared to go 80 shhhhhh.

We get to Germantown with about 15 mins to spare and still we were both sweating bullets UNTIL the training got started and our Turbo Kick Instructor (presenter) was SOOOO AMAZING! She made us all feel so comfortable with her and she made it a party! We started at 9am and it ended at 5pm so that’s a lot of Turbo and learning to fit in 1 day but she did it and it didn’t feel rushed or anything. I felt like I got A LOT out of that training and was super excited about everything that was happening that day. By the way I had my body bugg on and I burned OVER 4,000 calories that day!! I was pumped Lol! Ok back on track anyways Kim and I both felt great about how we did but we were going for GOLD and I knew I wasn’t going to get GOLD yet but I felt like we both passed then we found out we wouldn’t find out for 4-6 weeks!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME that’s a lifetime for someone like me who can barely wait 1 min for results when my computer says LOADING… I hate waiting! Im hyper and I like to get things done fast. Honestly this Blog of mine will eventually turn into a audio blog, and then a vlog very quickly because I LOVE telling my story and sharing info that Im passionate about but this whole typing it out when my fingers don’t move as fast as my mind isn’t going to work for me haha….

Anyways both of us were very excited to find out how we did on the practical and written test and today was that day. I was scrolling through my email and I saw in my junk mail (UGH hate that) there was a email that said TK results I’m like what if… sure enough it was a email saying I PASSED!!!! I didn’t get GOLD but that’s ok because that gives me something to work for. Our amazing instructor Christina said she didn’t get it the first time either and I find that hard to believe because she’s awesome! I was so excited but didn’t want to post it all over the Internet (blog, facebook, twitter, etc) unless I knew my sister passed to. I called Kim up and asked her to check her email…. by the way she was having the worth day of her life so I also thought this could help or hurt LOL I knew she passed tough…. she checked and yes sure enough she passed too!! YAY!

So now we are looking to take the next step. We are going to continue to practice(to be honest I need to practice a lot more than I have been) and then we can eventually start teaching …somewhere?? Today was a good day all around… everyday is a good day but today getting that great news was good to hear. Being a Beachbody coach has really truly opened so many more doors for me and I’m so blessed and thankful that I decided to become a coach. I remember telling my upline sponsor Jenelle Summers that I could NEVER teach because I’m to shy and now I’m like all ready to go.
